The VON Chronic Pain Program provides assessment and recommendations for chronic pain management. Recommendations are sent to the primary care provider for implementation. Nurse Practitioners may provide temporary opioid prescribing to eligible patients, who require support with opioid adjustments or Buprenorphine/Naloxone (Suboxone) starts. Counselling and self-management classes are also available for those with chronic pain through our skilled team.

Accepts referrals from primary healthcare providers and community healthcare agencies, supporting residents of Windsor, Sarnia, & Chatham, who have a chronic non-cancer pain condition.
