Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare's Residential Withdrawal Management Services (WMS) is a 22-bed residential, medically-supported, alcohol and other substance withdrawal co- facility for men and women ages 16+. Care encompasses and supports physical, financial, residential, spiritual, emotional, social, and education needs to motivate and address positive lifestyle changes that support the recovery process. Through the daily support of a Certified Chemical Dependency Counsellor and a Clinical Social Worker/Addiction System Navigator, individuals will be offered brief, supportive motivational counselling, case management, and positive, client-centered discharge planning that supports holistic, positive life changes. Length of stay at the facility is typically 4-5 days. Individuals are not allowed to leave and return to the facility during their stay, unless approved by management.
